Captach picture no more vissible

Hi,

I have the problem that suddenly the captcah picture is not vissible anymore. This did work fine some days ago.
The last thing I did was installing QContacts because I got spam with the contact fomular. QContacts has its own captcha.
The GD library is installed and enabled. If I deactivate the component QContact it is still the same problem.

I have no idea how to find and solve the problem.
Does anybody has an idea?

hat denn niemand eine Idee, warum dieses Captchabild nicht mehr angezeigt wird?
Es hatte alles problemlos funktioniert und plötzlich wird das Bild nicht mehr angezeigt.

Das einzige, dass ich danach noch gemacht hatte, war die Installation von QContacts, weil ich im Kontaktformular auch ein Captcha haben wollte. Aber selbst wenn ich QContacts wieder deaktiviere erscheint das Captchabild nicht.

Was könnte ich noch ausprobieren?

I have the same problem: The Captcha Picture is not shown anymore. How could I make it visible again? I have de-installed it and installed the latest version of it and it doesn't show anymore. I have the option enabled in EasyBook and changed it in the main menu too.

The effect: I am asked to enter the code, but it doesn't show a picture at all. There is just a space, where the picture should be... When I click on reload, it apparently reloads, but still no picture...

I could solve the problem. My provider did change some settings at the server and now I am not allowed to use the attribute 777 for directories. If I use the attribute 777 the php scripts will not work anymore. I did change this for all directories to 755 and now everything is working correctly.
My provider did send me an email when he changed this but I did not consider it.
