It's finally here

This release is the first one that may be installed both on Joomla! 1.5 AND Joomla! 1.6.
Version specific templates included.
Note: Joomla! 1.5 extension templates can be build on Joomla! 1.6 but not vice versa !

Hello,

First of all very very thank to you for creating this beautiful component. I am new in joomla and always wondering to develop components and so after several research I have found this component. I am first time user for this components tools and downloaded 0.0.13 version. I am happy to use this component and here every thing is moving beautifully but I am getting some bugs. I will be happy if you help me to solve this problem .

After creating Project Under any option if I am opening project and use below option
Files>Add elemet>Tables>Map and Admin>
I am getting Error as per attached file "EasyCreatorError1.jpg"
Now if I am refreshing browser I am getting error as per "EasyCreatorError2.jpg"

When I check my files I see some files are created and if I go and check my component menu I don't see new sub menu option on my component in my admin.

Can you please help me to fix this problem asap as I am on project development and I need to move further.

After switching over from the SVN Version to the 0.0.13 and re-registering my Project, i got the following Error:

Notice: Undefined index: menuid in /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.biz/httpdocs/administrator/components/com_easycreator/helpers/projecttypes/component.php on line 411

After that ALL of the existing Admin Menus incl. the Submenues are duplicated


Any hints??

i have a little problem with my component to register. I´ve started the developing with EasyCreator, then switched to an IDE and now i want go back to EasyCreator but there is a problem at registering my component.

Fatal error: Call to a member function getName() on a non-object in C:\xampp\htdocs\Joomla\administrator\components\com_easycreator\helpers\projecthelper.php on line 198

Maybe you can give me a hint where i have to search in my component, that i could register it in easy creator.

Hi Mr.why
that’s an interesting bug..
It means that an xml file has been found but it is 'invalid' - meaning it could not be read by the php parser. You should receive an error message, but it may not show up because of the fatal error..
Check your file

But there is a check missing for those situations.. will fix this soon

As a quick fix you might manually add this line *before* the error appears (lets say on line #197)

Thank you for your grate component.    I have been using EasyCreator for last 10 months, and I am so glad that I found it.

THANK YOU.

I just saw a newer version available (0.13), I uninstalled my 0.12, and installed 0.13 on two different sites. But, I almost have same errors on both sites. (Specially one of them was working grate with 0.12)

could you have look at the screen shoots, and let me know how I can fixed them, please?

Hi Alex,
the only thing I can think of is that the file holding the defines is not in place or net complete. Please check if the file
administrator/components/com_easycreator/defines.php
is there and has 81 lines.

Did you do a 'normal install' or did you install from a directory (maybe the same on both sites..)

Also the server software / PHP version would be interesting.
